Minecraft Survival: Part 2

Good morning! You will wake up automatically from your bed at dawn. Now, grab your stone pick and start to mine. If you have created a mining hole, go ahead and start to mine. If you haven't, then you can make one by making a small staircase down. If you happen to come across a cave, make sure you have torches and food. If you don't, go grab some torches and kill some sheep/cows/pigs/chickens/bunnies, etc. Keep a lookout for iron ore, and watch out for mobs! If you haven't come across a cave yet, or iron a coal, go outside and look for a cave opening. Again, make sure you have torches (at least 24) and food (if it's cooked that better).

Once you've found at least 10 iron ore and 16 coal, head back up to surface.
You can keep mining, but since a minecraft day is only 10 minutes long, you should head to surface after about 7 minutes, leaving 3 to get home. When you get home, put the coal in the bottom slot of the furnace and the iron ore in the top slot. It should like this:
The iron should begin smelting, leaving a white ingot behind. This is your iron. Go to sleep then wait until you wake up. The smelting process won't go any faster, but no mobs will spawn.

Good morning! Go check your furnace. If it's done, and all the iron ore has smelted, take the ingots out and begin crafting.

The first thing to make is a bucket. Make a pick next, then a sword. You should have 2 iron left over. Put that in your chest. Today we are making a farm. Craft a stone hoe, then go outside to mine some grass. There is a chance you will get seeds. Once you have at least 6 seeds, fill your bucket up with water by going to a water source and right clicking. You should a have a water bucket now. Go back to your hill house, mine three blocks vertically or horizontally. It should only be one block deep. Place the water in it by right clicking with the water bucket. The water will be running, so if you prefer still water, take your empty bucket back to the water source and fill it up, then again place your water on the opposite end of where you last placed it. Now, take your hoe and right click the ground next to your water. Then right click with the seeds to plant them. If your having trouble understanding this, go to this farming tutorial: http://www.wikihow.com/Build-a-Basic-Farm-in-Minecraft After you make your farm, feel free to do whatever you want until night! Then, of course, you sleep.

Things about looking up minecraft crafting recipes

Um, WHAT
this isn't real

Number 1: Things like this don't really exist. Really.

Number 2: Stuff like this doesn't work.
Yeah. So, If you come across stuff like this, (believe me, there are more) don't believe it's real, because chances are it's not. These might work in mods, but in Vanilla Minecraft, this stuff doesn't work.

Minecraft Survival: Part 1

First day: Start your world. When you spawn, the first thing to do is punch wood. After you have 16 logs, open your inventory and craft wooden planks. Next make a crafting table.

Place your crafting table down. Make a wooden sword, then mine your crafting table and put it in your inventory, then find and kill three sheep.
Find a good sized hill. Make a small hole in the hill. Place your crafting table down, then make a wooden pick. Mine 13 or more cobble, then make a furnace and a stone pick.
Find some coal or make some charcoal by smelting logs and planks together. Make sticks, then craft
torches and a door.
Place the torches on the walls of your hole, then add the door where the entrance to your hole is. Make a bed and a chest, and BOOM! You've got a starter's hill house. If you have spare time before night, you can add a mining hole by making a small staircase inside your hill. Make sure to light it up or block it up so no mobs spawn! Then, right click on your bed to fall asleep. Goodnight, and good job for surviving your first night.

CRAFTING RECIPES: ALL THE RECIPES FOR THE ITEMS IN THIS POST

crafting table
wooden sword/pick (make all the picks, swords, hoes, axes, and shovels with the same recipe, only different materials. i.e. instead of wood at the top to make the stone pick, I use cobble at the top!)
furnace
To make sticks, just place 2 wooden planks vertically in the crafting table or inventory craft. No picture needed.
door
To make torches, place 1 stick at the bottom and 1 coal/charcoal at the top.
bed
To make the chest, make it like the furnace but with wood instead of cobble. Placing 2 chests next to each other makes a large chest.
